Will You Charge for Mileage?
No, it is included in the quote
How Will You Quote me a Price?
We will visit your location & walk the property; introduce me to your animals & describe what you need me to do.
How Often Will You Come to My Place?
Twice daily, or once daily if that meets the needs.
How Will You Handle an Emergency?
Call the client and/or the vet info provided beforehand. I will follow the client’s instructions as discussed prior. Have a backup vet available.
Do You Charge for Estimates?
No.
Do you Provide "Pet-Sitting" as a Service?
Solely “pet sitting” of small animals is not the primary focus, Farm Care is, however, it can be included in the property oversight.
What Kind of Animals are you Willing to Care For?
Horses, goats, canines, donkeys, ponies, cows, llamas, alpacas, sheep, hogs, pigs, rabbits, chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, exotic birds, deer, fish, and cats when needed.
Will You Call me to Let me Know How my Animals are Doing?
Yes, daily if you like.
Can you Administer Already Prescribed Medications to Animals if Needed or Routinely Scheduled?
Yes, I worked in healthcare for 44 years and am currently retired.
What Happens if You are Unavailable or Totally Booked for the Dates Needed?
Will refer you directly to someone else who has been farm caring for years.
Do You Hire Out Your Services?
No, I perform all of the services myself.
What About the Tractor Work That is Mentioned?
My husband would accompany me to provide a separate custom quote using our privately owned John Deere with implements. The price includes labor & gas per project.
