About Me and Farm it Out

Hello, my name is Jillian Prentice. I am currently homesteading on a beautiful 10-acre property northeast of Folsom, Louisiana. My days are filled with the joys and responsibilities of caring for horses, dogs, a small herd of goats, chickens, and ducks, as well as growing vegetables and cultivating mushrooms.

With a passion for animals that began in childhood, I have dedicated my life to their care and well-being. I am experienced and certified in Equine and Canine Massage, bringing a special touch to the animals with whom I work. My familiarity with tending to farm animals, both large and small, comes from years of hands-on experience on modest farms in Louisiana and Mississippi, owned by myself, friends, and family.

I offer a range of services including animal feeding, care, and turn-out for specified time periods, property oversight in person, garden and greenhouse watering, mail collection, and daily reports to clients. Additionally, I provide certified Equine and Canine massage and can perform light to medium tractor work with additional consultation.

For me, spending time with animals is where I feel God’s pleasure most profoundly. This deep connection drives my dedication to offering the best possible care for all the animals I tend to.
